Project Life: Week 20/06-26/06

So glad you have taken the time to visit me here today. Hope you enjoy your time with my family and I!!

MONDAY: The 3 cousins are having an absolute ball together. Jamie in particular is enjoying having kids his own age to play with. Since Kimmy has been here I have not seen hide or hair of him, because he has been busy playing and playing and playing. It is something so special to witness!

TUESDAY: Jenna really is the most adorable baby, and having her around has made me very broody!! There is nothing like a baby in the house to make a happy atmosphere. She smells so good, and it is just the most wonderful feeling to cuddle her. LOVE you sweet Jenna. I am loving getting to know you better!

WEDNESDAY: Today Kayla practised all she has learnt at ballet class for me, it was totally adorable, and made me a little sad not having a girl! She did all the steps and pranced around like a little fairy. My favourite part was the toe exercises, super cute, and as you know I have a bit of a thing for baby and kid feet!!

THURSDAY: LOVE LOVE LOVE this photo!!! Here Amy is helping me take Jamie's temperature. She was being his little nurse, too cute for words. Isn't that face just adorable. Amy's personality is just me, if I had had a girl, I picture her being just like Amy!!!

FRIDAY: Alan came to pick up the girls today. Here they are outside waiting for him. It was a chilly windy day today, and there was a fire around somewhere making it very hazy!! I am going to miss you 4 so very very much, it has been such a special visit. I love you lots xx

SATURDAY: The kids were very fascinated when we woke up this morning and discovered the water in our new birdbath had iced up completely. Must have been quite cold last night. At least the days here are lovely, especially when the sun shines!

SUNDAY: Jamie helped me pick some spinach from our veggie garden today to add to our potato bake, he was o.k with helping me, expect I kept adding more leaves to his little arms, and then his enthusiasm wained. Then to add insult to injury his Mom rushed off to get her camera and took loads of photos!!

I hope you enjoyed another little peak into my life, hope you will drop by again next week :)

Project Life: Week 13/06-19/06

NapTime MomTog Project 365

Welcome back to my blog today!!

MONDAY: Debbie (my SIL), and Glen (my FIL), bought me these gorgeous flowers yesterday. I have never had any of these before, they have brightened up my kitchen beautifully!!

TUESDAY: With all that has been going on we have been slightly out of routine, as a result we didn't check for eggs for a day or two. Look at the wonderful bounty that was waiting for us when we check this afternoon!!

WEDNESDAY: The lunar eclipse was beautiful last night, really something to behold!!

THURSDAY: It was a public holiday here for us today. We decided to go to Glencoe dam for the morning so the boys could ride their RC cars in a different place. I had never been there before, and it really is a lovely spot! I can see us spending some more time here in Summer!!!

FRIDAY: I had Dawn Kremer come in and do a bit of a feature for us outside our back door. When I got home from Mom's Group is was all finished, and it was so nice to drive in and see the end result, I am SO happy with it!!

SATURDAY: We are over the moon, Kimmy and the girls have come up for a "on the spur of the moment" visit. We are so happy to have them spending time here with us in Dundee. Of course Jamie is in his element, and plays non-stop with his cuzzies!!

SUNDAY: I am so happy to be able to bond with gorgeous little Jenna. Up until this visit I had only just held her once, so it really was over due!! She is just the cutest thing around!!! :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by today!! xx

Anita Be Stampin Card

Thanks for stopping by again today. As you can see I am on a huge cardmaking kick at the moment and I am LOVING it!!

The card I have created qualifies for a number of challenges, but the main one I wanted to make this one for is for the latest challenge over at Anita Be Stampin. I used to be on this DT, and what a wonderful team it was!! I resigned from the team because I was battling to keep up with my DT commitments at the time, and I was committed to another site that I had been on for ages, only to be told shortly thereafter that my time was up with them. So that didn't work out too well for me, did it!! Anyway Anita Be Stampin really do produce the most gorgeous stamps, rubber and digi. This is one of their digi images, and isn't she cute!! Go and check out their challenge blog HERE. Their latest challenge is to LAYER IT!! You can't see it too well, but the brown square is popped up, as well as the image on my card :)

Products I used on this card:
Brown patterned paper - Basic Grey
Green & white patterned paper - ?????
Paper flowers from a local shop - I went on a bit of a shopping spree yesterday :)
Embossing folder - Cuttlebug
Font used on sentiment - Ali's Hand
Copics!! :)

The challenges I am entering my card for are:
Anita Be Stampin - Layer it
Bunny Zoe's - Lace
Stamp Something - Use a digi image
Sketch 'n Stash - Latest sketch (It's fab don't you think?!?)
AnnaBelle Stamps - Use the colours Olive, Lemon & Chocolate

Thanks for popping in, hope you enjoyed your little visit :)

Project Life Weeks 23/5-29/5 & 30/5-5/6

NapTime MomTog Project 365

I am sorry about missing my Project Life photos last week, but with the passing of my MIL on the 30th, life has changed somewhat!! It has been a very sad and hard week!! As a result I have 2 weeks worth of photos to share with you today.

MONDAY: I found the perfect buttons for my newly completed Shalom Cardi. I am so happy with the way this FO has turned out, and it fits like a glove!

TUESDAY: Jamie brought me this lovely flower from the garden and I had to put it in water on display in the lounge. If you notice his right hand is a bit chubbier than the left because he was stung by something at school today!

WEDNESDAY: This is our nightly ritual, me reading Jamie a story before he goes to sleep. Kimmy gave Caide this book years ago and it has been Jamie's favourite night time story book!

THURSDAY: It was late when I realised I hadn't taken a POTD, so Brycie taking a bite out of his doughnut was the best I could do!

FRIDAY: We had our first frost last night, quite late into the season. The talk about town is that it is going to be quite a cold winter, we will have to wait and see!

SATURDAY: I have been loving making cards lately. I am enjoying my Magnolia stamps (aren't they cute!), and playing with my Copics. This is a great way of to get a quick crafty kick!!

SUNDAY: When I was hanging up the washing I looked up and saw this beautiful sight. The sky looked so blue through the yellow and orange leaves of the tree!!

WEEK 30/5 - 5/6

MONDAY: Our hearts are broken that we had to loose you so quickly and suddenly!! You still had so much to give!! We will miss you every day Nana! I love this photo taken on our wedding day, she looked so happy and pretty!

TUESDAY: Jamie drew me a little pig today, and I was so taken with the details, especially the curly little tail!

WEDNESDAY: My mom arrived today to give us some support, be here for Caide for his birthday, and for the Memorial Service which is to be held on Friday. I am SO happy to have you here Mom!!

THURSDAY: Happy 12th birthday Caide, I can't believe how time is flying by, it is going way too quickly. I am so happy that you managed to have a good day despite all the sadness around you. I hope the year ahead is fantastic for you my special boy!!

FRIDAY: Keagan came to sleep over and you watched some DVD's, one being Spud and we had pizza and ice-cream. Hope you enjoyed your afternoon and evening. You and Bryce were so brave at the Memorial Service this morning. I am so proud of you both!

SATURDAY: Ray took some much needed "me" time and put together his Wing Dragon plane last night. He also took it out for it's first flight which ended disastrously with it crashing into pieces. My heart nearly broke for him!!!

SUNDAY: I wanted to get a photo of Mom with the boys before she left this morning. Unfortunately Jamie was not up to smiling because he has a BAD throat infection. I love the photo anyway!! Thanks so much for being here for us this week Mom. I love you more than you will ever know!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit me here today, I hope you will drop by again next week :)
